Greystoke Preschool

Greystoke Preschool is a warm, welcoming, all-year-round setting attached to Greystoke Primary School. We care for children aged three and up, offering flexible options to suit busy family life. Alongside our term-time sessions, we provide wraparound care with a Breakfast Club (7:30am – 8:30am) and Afterschool Club (3:30pm – 6:00pm)—plus we’re open throughout the holidays!

Funding is available during term time and can be stretched across the year to support working parents.

At Greystoke, we follow the Early Years Statutory Framework, helping every child build the confidence and skills they need for a smooth transition into Reception. Our curriculum covers all seven areas of learning, from communication and language to physical development and emotional wellbeing. We go the extra mile—introducing phonics, early writing, and maths—while keeping learning fun and engaging.

Our days are thoughtfully structured to mirror Reception, blending life lessons, phonics, maths, and understanding the world with plenty of play. Through our “learning through play” approach, children develop independence, imagination, and communication skills that last a lifetime.
